Job Summary:
As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play an essential role in our kitchen, contributing to the preparation of delicious dishes that meet our client's standards of quality and presentation. Working closely with the culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and executing various elements of the menu, ensuring that each dish is a testament to the franchise's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work under the guidance of the CDP to prepare and present dishes according to franchise standards.
• Prepare and cook ingredients to the highest quality, following standardized recipes and techniques.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the assigned section, ensuring a sanitary and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of dishes during service.
• Assist in adhering to franchise-wide menu standards, recipe consistency, and special event preparation.
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering procedures, and controlling food costs in line with franchise guidelines.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and food safety standards as mandated by the franchise.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a DCDP, or a similar role in a fine dining restaurant.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent culinary training is preferred.
• Strong passion for food, culinary arts, and creativity in the kitchen.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and a diverse range of cuisines.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow instructions from the CDP and adhere to franchise standards.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
