      Job Overview:

      Our client is looking for a personable and organized Host/Hostess to greet and welcome guests at the outlets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for guests, the Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience.

       

      Responsibilities:

      - Greeting and Seating: Warmly welcome guests as they arrive, assist with reservations, and manage the seating process efficiently.

      Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.

      Reservation Management: Maintain an organized system for managing reservations, ensuring accurate records and efficient table turnover.

      Collaboration: Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth communication and coordination for optimal guest satisfaction.

      Cleanliness: Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the reception and waiting areas, ensuring a tidy and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

      Problem Resolution: Handle guest issues or complaints with tact and composure, escalating to management when necessary.

      Upselling: Promote specials, events, and other offerings to enhance the overall guest experience and contribute to revenue generation.

      Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, taking reservations, and managing guest flow during peak hours.

       

      Qualifications:

      - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

      - Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

      - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

      - Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer proficiency.

      - Positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality.

      - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
